2560×1024

So I decided that in the absence of an immediate need for a laptop, I’d just go buy another LCD for my desktop. 2560×1024 is pretty sweet. Plus, I figured out that I didn’t want to settle for the Inspiron 6000, since I do want something I can drop on a port replicator when I’m home. If nothing else, it should make reviews easier.

On a related note, today I start working full-time on Firefox, working under a contract with the Mozilla Foundation. So all of those “I’ll get to it around mid-April” comments really were accurate. I really did mean “I’ll get to it around mid-April” which is now. Expect the bugspam to start rsn, I need to catch up on bugmail first (the last week sucked).

Congrats on getting the job, Mike. I am happy to hear that you will be getting more involved — I wish I could clone you and create a clone army of good programmers. Anyway, best of luck and looking forward to working with you.

mconnor has a reason to r=+ now. He promises bugspam. I say “bring it on”. Hopefully this will really get things moving and get some code landing….

Excellent news :) Although if Jeff didn’t see it coming, he must have had his eyes closed… should’ve happened sooner, but that’s easy for me to say.

I’d love to see your personal bug triage list if you wouldn’t mind sharing it.

Employment is always a good thing.

Now – tell us how large your 2650×1024 screen is. And then tell us what theme you are using for Firefox, and how it looks at that resolution. What do you do to keep the fonts readable in the URLbar and SearchBar?
